I didn’t make the video below but it’s the same knife. I like it a lot. I got it from BladeHQ: best price I could find ($32.90) and good shipping service.

Features:

  • Partially serrated 3.2″ 440C stainless steel blade
  • Ambidextrous thumb studs
  • Spring assist
  • Slide lock on back (to keep it closed)
  • Liner lock (to keep it open)
  • Removable belt clip
  • Lanyard hole

My only problem with it is that the belt clip is not ambidextrous (can’t be moved to the other side) and the liner lock is designed for right-handers (hard but not impossible to manipulate left-handed), but a knife with these features would probably cost me quite a bit more.

Even if it is stainless, be sure to put a little oil on it and on the pivot joint to prevent corrosion and lubricate the action. I think mine actually opens a little faster now that I put a couple drops of Rem Oil (with Teflon), which I use on my gun, on the pivot joint.

Oh…I’ve also found that the knife, or at least the one I have, works as a gravity knife. Try flicking your wrist sharply. When I do it just right I can open the knife without even touching the thumb studs.
